I recently spent the most creatively invigorating evening at a trunk show featuring Krista Moser of the Quilted Life, a modern quilter from Marysville, who spoke at the Washington Stars Quilt Guild November 19.
Krista shared her beginnings and back story, and how she translates the quilt visions in her head to fabric, and how her team captures that vision in patterns.
Thanks to SPS Chapter member LaDauna Wilson for telling me about Krista, who had spoken at the Tacoma Modern Quilt Guild. I was thrilled to check my local guild calendar and see Krista was scheduled to speak and I could meet her in person!

Krista has designed for Creative Grids Rulers with the Non-Slip 60 Degree Diamond Ruler and Mini Diamond Ruler to assist making these designs. There are also the 60 Degree Triangle rulers. Of course I had to purchase a Diamond Ruler, because I simply don’t have enough quilting rulers!
I really love Krista’s style of large objects and her long arm quilting really makes it pop.

And there’s even more good news…Krista is going to teach a class for us!! We’re penciled in for Saturday October 31, 2020- we just need to choose a pattern for the class.
