Advancing Sewing as an Art and Life Skill
The American Sewing Guild is a national, non-profit guild of people who love to sew. The South Puget Sound chapter proudly serves the sewing enthusiasts in Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Yakima and South King counties of Washington State. Our goal is to learn and to share our love of sewing with one another and others in our communities.
We host social events such as fashion shows and sewing fairs and sewing related service projects for our community.
Our members have a wide range of skills, and we love to share what we know. Whether you are an experienced sewist or a beginner, you will find something to increase your confidence and expand your skills.
Neighborhood Groups
We have 21 Neighborhood Groups that meet monthly giving members the chance to share techniques through demonstrations and participation. There are meetings during the day, evenings and weekends. Meetings are held in Auburn, Lacey, Kent, Milton, Ocean Shores, Pacific, Puyallup, Shelton, Steilacoom, Sumner and Yakima.

American Sewing Guild (National Website)
Because the American Sewing Guild (ASG) is a “national” organization, you can attend any neighborhood group meeting anywhere in the United States at any time. Additionally, as a member you will receive a weekly newsletter blog from the national office and have access to hundreds of free on-line videos and vendor discounts.
