Wednesday, September 18 was an evening there were no parking spaces left in downtown Chehalis!
Sisters Quilt Shop brought in Kaffe for 3 days – a lecture filled with amazing pictures and interesting facts of his life in the art world. His knitting, weaving, sewing, painting and travel experiences left us wishing he would talk for another hour! The Chehalis Theater was packed with about 300 people on Wednesday night, with 2 classes in the following days on Green Diamonds and Mediterranean Hexagons. Both the classes and the lecture were sold out. I saw several sewing friends in the audience who had made the trip from Olympia, Tacoma and other areas. Of course, Sisters Quilt Shop stayed open so we could shop… thanks again to Sisters for hosting this creative genius!
